SysMics interdisciplinary research project

SysMics interdisciplinary research project

UMR 1280 PhAN is involved in the SysMics (Towards Systems medicine based on multi-oMics) research project. The aim of SysMics is to bring together laboratories in Nantes to promote the integration of data from genomic screening with other data (molecular, biological and clinical), enabling the development of new biomedical approaches. The Labex will work on four objectives: to strengthen the synergy of research efforts in genetics, genomics and bioinformatics applied to genetic diseases, chronic pathologies and cancer; to develop predictive models; to build international training in systems biology/medicine; and to promote multi-omics approaches in translational research, and ultimately in clinical practice. Coordinated by Richard REDON (Thorax Institute - Nantes University / Inserm / CNRS / Nantes University Hospital) Main players involved: PHAN, Institut du thorax, CR2TI, CRCI2NA, TENS, RMES, TARGET, CEISAM, LS2N, SFR Bonamy, CIC 1413
