Prix du meilleur abstract etPrize for the best abstract and research grant from the French Neonatology Society

Paul Bobin, a 4th year PhD student, took part in the Journées Francophones de Recherche en Néonatologie (NEWCAP Event) in Paris on 5 and 6 December. During the Developmental Biology session, he presented some of the results of his thesis on the adaptation of endocrine function in offspring during the breastfeeding period, when they are exposed to perinatal hyperglycaemia. During the plenary session, the Scientific Committee of the Société Française de Néonatologie awarded her the SFN research grant. This grant will enable him to finance his salary for a further 6 months. He also received the prize for the best abstract in the Developmental Biology session.
