Conference - Garance Dalix - Natexpo2025

As part of her CIFRE thesis, a collaboration between UMR 1280 PhAN (supervisor: V. Ferchaud-Roucher) and Agrofün, Garance Dalix will be participating in the international organic products trade show, Natexpo, from 30 November to 2 December at Porte de Versailles in Paris.

Garance Dalix will present her thesis findings on the effects of chia seed supplementation during pregnancy on maternal lipid profiles, and on the transplacental transfer of omega-3 to the fetal brain, in the context of obesity.

This presentation will shed light on:

- the importance of nutrition during pregnancy in the context of obesity

- the key role of omega-3 in public health prevention during the preconception, pregnancy, and lactation.

The conference aims to improve our understanding of how food can promote the health of mother and children by linking science, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture.
